Join performance poet Naomi Foyle and cabaret trio Mandy and the Magdalenas for a very special evening in a glamourous seafront flat, complete with tasty goodies and piping hot milled wine.

Naomi Foyle will be reading from her new book of poems Red Hot & Bothered (Lansdowne Press), a collection of verse inspired by the planet Mars and exploring themes of sex, death and taxes. Naomi's renowned performances, both solo and with musician Richard Miles, veer from theatrical flamboyance to a more intimate and tender style. Compared lately to Edith Sitwell, Kurt Weill, Patti Smith, Nick Cave and Anna Akhmatova, her literary richness and spice will be the perfect kick off for the Christmas season.

Mandy and the Magdalenas top off the evening with their own compelling brand of musical wit and zest. With the steamy Eastern European flavour of their music and their tart lyrical aplomb, the elegant trio, 'Cole Porter in Corsets' are guaranteed to have you in stitches and begging for more.

The higher price for this concert reflects the provision of mulled wine and mince pies. Organic juices will also be on offer.
